I visited here last summer. I was able to get a rare "little bear's paw". (This was my first time.) I've eaten meat in countless places, but... This Senryu restaurant has a fine front. The building has a sense of age, which is very calming. The well-maintained garden is also wonderful - it's really hard to maintain. If you don't look after it yourself or spend money to have a gardener prune it, it will soon become unsightly. The food was not so much about taste, but rather many rare items. I think it will be irresistible for those who like Medicinal Food and Chinese medicine. In the first place, Chinese medicine across the sea has a history of thousands of years, and some are effective, but there are also people who are not good for taking it, so it is not good for everyone. In fact, some put a strain on the liver by eating it. [a:13020173, Herb Shop] was also crowded with many people, but it's fine if you know that and use it. . It seems that the owner studied Medicinal Food in China, and there was something that looked like a certificate, but I don't know how much it was worth. However, the owner of this restaurant is also recommended by a doctor at the Toyama Medical and Pharmaceutical Department, and as a "medicine seller in Etchu Toyama," the cuisine is unique to Toyama, which is closely related to medicine. The food was Fried food kaiseki meal that included fried Medicinal Food Japanese-style meal, rare items such as bear's paws and scorpions, as well as Japanese dishes such as takiasawase and soup. As for the Japanese side, the sculpin was nicely grilled, but the soup was nothing to write home about. It might have been more interesting if they had stuck to Medicinal Food and served something like samgyetang. The bear's paws were squidgy and fatty, and a bit heavy, so I had to ask my companion to help me ^^; It's something you might only eat once in your lifetime, so it's more of a rare item than a taste... The sweetfish was from the Shogawa River. I visited in midsummer, and it was this big, so it was small. They said that the sweetfish in the Shogawa River was the most delicious, but if it's from the same Toyama, I prefer the sweetfish in the Jinzu River. The portions were generous, there was a wide variety of dishes, and I was generally satisfied. Thank you for the meal♪
