I walked from Toyama Station, about 2km. It's out of the station, so it's recommended for couples with a reason or a secret meeting. It's on the first floor of a building, but the sign isn't flashy, so don't miss it. If you look closely, you'll see "Katsusai". It's a classy restaurant. When you enter the restaurant, the lighting somehow feels like it's suitable for a date♡. It's not a private room, but you don't have to worry about the surroundings. It's an Izakaya (Japanese-style bar), but all the menu items are attractive! There are many fish dishes. There are also dishes using famous water pork, which is typical of Toyama. The fish is of course fresh. I was impressed by the "Namero". I was drinking sake with the food, but I wanted rice (°▽°) so I had the Namero with white rice. It was the best. I felt like I could eat as many bowls of rice as I wanted. The sake on offer included not only sake from Toyama, such as Katsukoma, Haneya, and Hayashi, but also sake from other regions, such as Fukuoka (⌒▽⌒) I'm not a big drinker, but I had a glass each of Katsukoma, Haneya, and Hayashi. The sake cups were also Nousaku, so you could really feel the "Toyama" vibe. The dishes, such as milt risotto, boiled fish, and grilled fish, are all unique to this restaurant, so I'd recommend it to people from outside the prefecture as well. Thank you for the delicious meal.
