Out near Sasazu JR station, there's a soba shop called KANOAN. It is deceptively in the countryside in a lackluster white house. But inside, the decor is cute and "Japanese". There are interesting furniture and trinkets all around, especially "fake food" that are really cute. The HANAMANKAI set is popular, and has both ZARUSOBA and TEMPURA. The soba tea was light, as was the soba water at the end. The soba was firm, while the tempura had a good crunch while only dusted lightly with panko. I would have ordered more recommended dishes, like the egg roll or the TAIYAKI. I think this place is truly a hidden gem.
すごい田舎のところにいいそば屋があります。蕎麦茶と蕎麦湯はまあまあですが、そばと天ぷらは美味しかったです。そばは歯ごたえのあり、天ぷらはサクサクでした。また来る時、卵巻きと鯛焼きも美味しそうでした。是非食べてみてください。
