昨日のこどもの日。かしわ餅を食べようと富山の老舗の餅屋さんが昨年自宅の近くに支店を出したとのことでやって来ましたこちらのお店。
この餅屋さんの看板商品はあやめ団子。偶然にも今朝の地元紙にあやめ団子の記事が。あやめ団子って富山だけの味覚とか。知らなかった。砂糖と醤油を煮詰めたみたらし団子に対して、黒糖を煮詰めた蜜を絡めたのがあやめ団子。どちらも子供の頃から食べ慣れた味だけど、やっぱりあやめ団子が好きだ。
買って帰るとまだ温かい。出来立てだ。いつも冷めたものを食べていたので温かいのは初めてだ。続々とお客さんが来ていたし、新聞効果か？
お餅は物凄く柔らかく蜜も緩め。冷めたものとは別物ののよう。ふわふわですぐになくなる、確かに儚くも幸せな美味しさ。
美味しゅうございました♪また食べたい。
