黒部峡谷鉄道の終着駅にあるレストラン。
場所は、駅直結で駅の２階にあります。
少し年季の入った店内ですが、団体客も対応できるよう中央にテーブル席がいくつもあり、また、渓谷側には窓側に向いた席も用意されています。
券売機で注文し、番号が呼ばれたら取りに伺うお水や箸、取り皿なども含めて完全セルフの店。
メニューは渓谷の奥深くにあるので、スキー場のように、ラーメン、カレー、うどん、そばなどのシンプルながらも食堂らしいメニュー。
白エビや漬け丼などのご当地感のあるメニューもあります。
自分は、白エビそば（冷やし）1100円を注文。
ほどなくして提供。
量は、そこそこあり、味は優しいお出汁にあっさりと食べられる一般的なそば。概ね、ふつう。
山深い場所で、下界とかわらない料理が気軽に食べられるお店があるのは貴重だと思います。値段も今の御時世と場所から考えると決して高くありません。
もちろん安くもないですが…
