富山県朝日町の国道8号線沿い、タラ汁街道の境西交差点にある小さなお店です。隣の金森さんが目立っていますが、こちらのお店は駐車場が小さいなので分かりにくいかもしれません。店内は白木の綺麗なカウンターのみ、タラ汁屋さんの中では一番綺麗な内装かも。メニューを見ると昼はご飯、夜は食堂兼居酒屋の様です。ラーメン、そば、うどん、チャーハン、丼などの安いものは600円くらいから、定食はとんかつ、タラ汁、しょうが焼き、焼き魚などがあり800-1,000円くらい、刺身定食だけ1,500円です。全体的にはそれほど高くはありません。
私が頼んだタラ汁定食は980円でここら辺りで一番安い値段帯でした。タラ汁はこの地域の慣わしなのか大き目のお鍋に入った状態で出てきます。タラは身2切れ、頭半切れ、肝が入っており、それにネギとゴボウを入れ味噌で煮ていました。スープの味は味噌にタラのエキスがにじみ出て塩味が強めでした。付近の食堂の中でどちらかというとこちらが一番塩味が強いかもしれません。副食はトマト、ナス、オクラなどの野菜類です。他のお店のタラ汁定食は野菜少な目でしたが、こちらはたくさん入っていてうれしかった。栄養バランスがよくなりますからね。
