I have only been to Rose e Romeo when it was located in Nakagawa, Takaoka, a long time ago. Since it opened in Daimon, neither my wife nor I have been there, so we decided to go. We decided to go in as soon as the restaurant opened, with the seasonal summer menu, cold pasta with peaches and Prosciutto. However, when I looked at the table menu, I changed my mind. There was something called stewed tripe pasta. I imagined a dish of tripe and pasta with tender tripe. Yes, this is it! I ordered the stewed tripe pasta (1,380 yen) and my wife ordered the cold pasta with peaches and Prosciutto as planned. The tripe stew came first. It must have been simmered in the oven, as the bowl was so hot that you couldn't touch it. And the aroma of the tripe rose with the steam. Well, it was a little different from what I had imagined, but the taste was, oh, salty and spicy. Of course, the tripe and tripe were tender and deliciously chewy. There was also a shrimp in it. The pasta is also from Himi, and is similar to Himi udon. It absorbs the salty soup and has a nice taste, and is chewy and smooth. Next, the chef comes with a cart with Prosciutto set on it, along with my wife's cold pasta. It's a wonderful sight to see Prosciutto sliced one after another and covered the pasta right in front of our eyes. Of course, I asked "Can I take a photo?" and took a picture. It is the hind leg of a pig that has been aged for two years, and it seems that the Prosciutto is from pigs that have been fed with leftover Parmesan cheese. Prosciutto certainly has a cheese scent. We eat it with seasonal peaches. (This is normal pasta.) I could eat this forever. After this, I couldn't help but do a nasty search to see how many days a whole log of Prosciutto can be eaten. The pasta sauce was based on the flavor of tomatoes and vegetables, and had a salad-like taste. The amount was a little small, but we both scooped up the soup to the last drop and ate it all. Thank you for the meal.
