富山市内から国道8号線を西進する。高岡市中心部になると急に賑やかになる。そして中心部を抜けつつあるところに能越自動車道の高岡インターチェンジ、そしてその横(西側)に『道の駅 万葉の里 高岡』がある。
『万葉の里 高岡』はその道の駅の中にあるフードコートであり、初訪問した。
お食事処を探すと『爆盛りメニュー』で盛り上がっているようなので、ここを昼食場所として選択。
自動券売機で食事を選んで発券すると、自動的に厨房へ注文が通る。そして出品てきたなら食事券に記載された番号で呼び出されるので、カウンターへ受け取りに行くというセルフサービスパターン。
発注した品は『エビチリ定食』(税込み1000円)。食事は写真をいただくと一目瞭然かと。券売機などの画像とは異なる品にも感じた
とにかく空いた腹を満たす残念な食事となってしまった。
爆盛りでの盛り上がりはいいのだが、通常のメニューもしっかりしないと淘汰されますよね。セルフサービスであるとともにこれだけの価格設定をされているので、よろしくお願いします。
