BON is the restaurant of Manten Hotel in Takaoka, right across from the JR station. BON's interior is elegant, with interesting details everywhere. The staff is attentive and helpful. You would likely have to park across the street, where there is a huge multi -storied parking lot, of which the first 30min is free parking! BON offers hamburg steaks, pasta, pilaf, omelet rice, and desserts. For lunch, you can order the set menu which comes with soup, salad and dessert. Today, I had cream crab pasta, which was delicious (a little heavy on the wine). The soup was burdock root soup... very interesting. And pudding to end. A standard lunch that feels upgraded and elevated to the level of a good hotel. Bon is a restaurant inside the Manten Hotel across from Takaoka Station. The inside feels luxurious. The menu includes Hamburg Steak, pilaf, Omelette Rice, pasta, and desserts, but they have been brought to the level of a good hotel. Today's lunch set menu. Crab cream pasta was delicious.
