平日の13時に予約して伺いました。
六角形の趣ある風貌です。お店の中も古びた木造の雰囲気と洒落た今風の内装がとても良い雰囲気で好きになりました。
店内は女性グループ１組と２人組のみで空いている印象。
北陸新幹線も不通になってしまった時期で、観光客も少なかったのでしょうか。
予約していたためか、特別感あるソファ席を用意してくれていました。他のお客さんからから遮られるくらい背もたれの高い貴族のような気持ちになれるソファ席。他の席で使用していテーブルや椅子にもこだわりを感じました。
サンドイッチは、この日はコンビーフが品切れということで、BLTサンドイッチとスモークサーモン&クリームチーズのサンドイッチをシェアで食べることにしました。
まずたっぷりとしたサラダが届きます。
ドレッシングがとてもおいしい。会計の際、1階のショーケースでも販売していることに気付きました。ゴマとオニオンのドレッシングで、とてもまろやかでさっぱり。新鮮なルッコラなどの葉っぱのサラダととても合います。
サンドイッチは具の内容によりが使っているパンが違い、BLTのどっしりもっちりぱりっと焼かれたパンや、サーモンクリームチーズのもっちりしたクロワッサン。サンドイッチにとってパンの美味しさが大きいことをしみじみ感じました。
食後のミニブリュレはカリカリパリンとした表面を割ると、しっかり甘めのクリーミーなブリュレ生地。
食べ進むと、クリームのまろやかな濃厚さと風味の良さ、カラメルのほろにがさが美味しくて虜になります。
近くにあればもっといろいろ食べてみたいのですが。
新湊観光の際にはお勧めできる、雰囲気よくサンドイッチが美味しいカフェです。
