I've enjoyed shabu shabu here twice, but I think it's too extravagant for one person, so this time I had the Shokado lunch for 980 yen. If you add a dessert of your choice, it's about 1300 yen. It looks very gorgeous on the menu, but in reality it's rather plain. If you look closely, there are only drinks... tofu with vinegared mozuku seaweed, chawanmushi, udon... yeah. Drinks. The flavors were all gentle, but the salad dressing was strangely salty, the tempura was strangely oily, hmm... the balance was strange. I thought the hot pot was the best out of all the dishes. I wish they would do hot pots in addition to shabu shabu. By the way, Sushi here tastes like 100 yen Sushi, so I'm not sure about the value of a Sushi lunch that costs nearly 1500 yen. Well, I think it's best to just eat shabu shabu.
