Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) that can also be used for parties, where you can enjoy pure domestic horse meat sashimi
We use only domestically produced meat, such as horse meat delivered directly from Kumamoto, and offer handmade dishes such as Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot) and a la carte dishes. Located in Katahara-cho, |
There was a flyer. I decided to go because they serve horse sashimi, Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot), and beer for 250 yen during happy hour. There are four tables, a counter, and a private room on the second floor. There was no one there when I entered at 5pm, but two groups came in later. It may have been the effect of the flyer. I ordered motsunabe for 1,280 yen and top-grade red meat for 680 yen. As it was Golden Week, there was no top loin for horse sashimi, and I could only order two servings in total. The red meat varied in firmness, but it was generally delicious. Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot) had just the right amount of flavor and went well with the cabbage. It seems that you can add more motsuna in advance, so I think it would have been fine to have more. I had Ramen and porridge to finish off the meal, and I was able to drink up the broth. I wish the food was a little cheaper, but the drinks were cheap, so it was a reasonable price. I think it's good when you want to eat horse sashimi or Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot).
