富山県砺波市。株式会社・御菓蔵(おかくら)の直営販売店がある。
販売店は、広く、商品すべてが展示販売されているほか、店内には『いろり』のある休憩所が用意されている。そこには、自由に飲めるお茶や商品の試食品が置かれており、休憩はもちろん、お好みの詮索もできる。
今回いただいたのは、『越中富山湾 白えびかき餅』と『瀬戸内産 青のりかき餅』の2種類。
『白えびかき餅』は、白えびの風味や香ばしいさを期待したのだが、ごく普通の塩味おかきのようであり、やや期待外れ。パリッ、サクッと軽く普通に美味しいのだが…。
『青のりかき餅』は、予想に反して青のりの香り、味が濃く甘味も感じられる。こちらは、あとを引く美味しさであり、おすすめしたい。
店内にもいろりがあるが、家庭でも居間のテーブルにポーンと置いてあり、お茶など飲みながらポリポリ…。いいのではないだろうか。
