越中の小京都と呼ばれるほど街並みの美しく、歴史のある城端町。現在は市町村合併により南砺市となったが、四季折々、豊かな表情があるのでお気に入りの町だ。
ここに行ったら、お土産としてここの「木の葉石」を買う、どこにでもありそうなアーモンドを使った焼き菓子であるが、多くの人に喜ばれるお菓子だ。
ここでは冷やしぜんざいなど、ちょっと変わった甘味もあり、こういうお店が近所にあると、ちょっと一息も楽しくなるのに…と思う店だ。
