和歌山マリーナシティ・ロイヤルパインズホテル内にあるイタリアンレストランです。
日曜日にポルトヨーロッパに遊びに行った際、同行者さんがランチを予約してくれてました。
ロイヤルパインズホテルを利用したのは初めてなのですが、なかなか良い雰囲気ですね。
カジュアルながらもヨーロッパ調の内装で、お天気が良かったので日差しも伴って開放感が感じられました。
ファミリーさんは多いものの、ちょっとしたリゾート気分です。
目的の【カーロ・エ・カーラ】さんは入口から左手方向の1Fにあります。
初めてなのもあり少し探してしまったのですが、カフェよりも奥側です。
店内もホテルに入ったときの印象と同様に明るい雰囲気で、右手にオープンキッチンスタイルの厨房、大きな窓越しにガーデンとヨットハーバーが臨めます。
ＧＷ期間中限定の「Ciero ～チェーロ～」というコースをいただきました。
お値段は￥3,000で別途サービス料10％がかかるようです。

お味は万人受けしそうなお料理でしたが、見た目にはキレイです。
普段イタリアンを食べる機会の無い方でしたら、満足できる内容だと思われます。
ただ｢地元の素材を中心に、シェフがこだわりぬいた食材を入念な下ごしらえから仕上げまで、手間ひまを惜しまず持ち味を大切に料理｣というコンセプトは伝わってこなかったのが残念。
せっかく和歌山まで来たのだし、素材の良さがひしひしと伝わってくるようなお料理をいただきたかったなあと。
ボリューム的には満足できると思います。
ホームメイドパンは、くるみ・じゃがいも・フランスパン…だったかな？
3種類がおかわり自由で嬉しかったです。
テーブルのオリーブオイルでいただきます。
ドリンクの取り揃えはよく、ワインはイタリア系を中心に比較的リーズナブルな(ホテルにしては。ハーフで\2,000台～)ものから(高いものまで)揃っていました。
場所柄もあるでしょうが、どちらかというとファミリー向けなレストランだと思います。
もちろんカップルさんでもOKですが、どうしても子供が多いと騒々しくなってしまいますしね…。
とはいえ、ホテル内だけあってスタッフさんの対応も良く、お料理の説明も丁寧。
心地良い休日ランチを楽しむことが出来ました。
