和歌山市一番丁、和歌山城紅葉渓（もみじだに）庭園【西の丸庭園】内にある茶室で抹茶とお茶菓子が頂けるお店です。
昭和48年にパナソニックの創業者である松下幸之助氏が和歌山市に寄贈した茶室で、表千家と裏千家の方が交代で紅松庵を運営されているとのことです。
抹茶とお茶請けのセットの
点出し一服 460円のみとなります。
お茶請けは、和歌山市内の和菓子店鶴屋忠彦本舗の「いちょう」という和菓子で、上品な甘さが抹茶と合っているお饅頭で美味♪
抹茶は和歌山市内のお茶屋さん玉林園の抹茶に碾く前の原茶を石臼で挽いたそれでいて庶民的な「玉の緒」という抹茶で、庶民的とはいえ京都宇治産の高級碾茶なので、しっかりとした苦味の味わい深い抹茶で美味しいです♪
雰囲気も楽しめるのにリーズナブルにお茶も頂ける穴場的スポットです。
