Fried chicken at "Hazama-ya". Juicy chicken inside a crispy, spicy batter. It's fried chicken that's delicious even when it's cold after takeout. I'm a karaagenist certified by the Japanese Fried Chicken Association, so I recommend it. It's not just fried chicken. You can actually eat raw meat. There are several kinds, such as hanging sashimi and tongue. The photo shows the red assortment (hanging sashimi, hertz sashimi, mimikuri sashimi, tongue sashimi). All this for 1,000 yen! There are many sake options, including Wakayama's local sake "Kido". It's a recommended Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). Of course it's crowded on weekends. Reservations are required for groups.
