もつ焼というのはお江戸の文化でございますので、西の方にきますとなかなか食べられないのでございます。
和歌山城の近くのこの店にやってまいりました。
このお店では串に刺したホルモンを食べさせてくれるそうでございます。
カウンターに座りますと、看板娘がやってきて注文を取ってくれます。
とりあえず、いつものレモン酎ハイ。
おおお、このジョッキ、太くて短い。すごくどっしりとしたジョッキに感じます。
つきだしは、天ぷらの煮たの。
メニューをみますとハツ刺しなどというのがあります。最近、刺身はなかなか食べる機会がございませんので、喜び勇んで注文いたします。
そして、串焼もあります。
５本セットというのがありまして、内容は何か尋ねますと、小腸、赤せん、心臓、食道、大動脈の五種類だということでございます。とりあえず、それを頼みましょう。この呼称は牛のホルモンでございましょう。
ハツがやってまいります。
ほほぉ、思ったよりも量が多いです。一切れ一切れの縁のところが少し白くなっているので、タタキ状態にして火の通ったところを切除したのではないでしょうか。
これにわさびをつけて刺身醤油でいただきます。
もつ焼がやってきます。
左から、コリコリ（大動脈）、食道、ハツ（心臓）、赤せん（胃）、小腸でございます。
牛のホルモンを串で焼いてある店は珍しいな。どれもしっかり焼いてあります。これらのホルモンはしっかり焼いてほしい部位でございますので、よかったよかった。
