After having a delicious meal at [a:30003999, Japanese and Chinese food "Waraiya"], we went to this bar on the second floor of the same building♪ <Open Floor Waraya Whisky Club> I like alcohol, but I haven't had whisky for a long time... I wonder if the whisky club only serves whisky??? Anyway, let's go~~(*'v'*)/ ●Spacious interior. Good atmosphere. No charge until 9:00. After 9:00, it's a members-only system with a 1000 yen charge with no time limit. (You can become a member right away.) It seems that keeping a bottle is cheap. (According to my boyfriend) And now it's even cheaper to celebrate the opening. It's a very spacious space. The tables are spaced far apart. There are counter and sofa seats too. ●Drinks and food we had ・I had "Hibiki Sparkling with Orange Scent", 550 yen. I'm not used to drinking whiskey these days, but this had a refreshing orange scent and was easy to drink. ・Boyfriend... Probably Hakushu??? ・Assortment of three kinds of cheese, 720 yen. Three different types: blue or white, hard (semi-hard), and washed. Also served with dried figs, raisins, honey, and crackers. 720 yen * According to the description on the menu... "Hibiki 12 Year Old uses "plum wine aged malt" aged in barrels that have stored plum wine, further enhancing the sweet and gorgeous aroma. In addition, the addition of malt aged for over 30 years "gives depth and a sense of maturity to the flavor." "Hakushu... Whiskey with the aroma of young leaves grown in the vast forests of the Southern Alps. It is characterized by a crisp and refreshing taste." ●Impressions It was a wonderful bar where you could relax. There were various descriptions of the whiskey written on the menu, which was interesting to read. There were also some delicious looking food items on the menu, so I thought it would be nice to stop by for a light midnight snack. When I was leaving, there were pamphlets for the sister stores, "Wakanshoku Waraiya" and "Waraiya Kitchen" near the entrance, and as I was looking at them, a female staff member said, "We just opened a new store." I said, "I've already been there twice." My boyfriend said, "This guy is a Waraiya freak!" (lol) By chance, we went there two days in a row, and I think it's a great store. ~(*'v'*)/ ●Side note... When I was a college student, I remember drinking things like "whisky with water" even though I didn't really know the taste. In front of JR Osaka Station, on the top floor of Maru Building, there is [a:27007429, Top Thirty]. Although she is just a 20-year-old girl, she is a friendly bartender at her favorite bar. One time, there was some expensive-looking whiskey in the lab of the professor who supervised my graduation thesis... and a guy from the same seminar said, "The professor said it's okay to drink this alcohol," so we all drank it all up... When the professor realized later, he was shocked - he had done something bad... Oh... I think it was Yamazaki or Hibiki... was it a foreign one???
