I'm a chocolate mint lover (^^♪ I was able to visit a restaurant that I bookmarked after seeing a post on Instagram from a fellow chocolate mint lover! Misono Shopping Arcade, located on the east side of JR Wakayama Station, has many stores closed, making it a lonely shopping arcade with many shutters. Amidst this, Cafe & Bar Matatabi opened in June 2021 with the hope of revitalizing the shopping arcade. The name of the restaurant was chosen because the owner, who loves to travel, wanted to "travel again," and because cats are attracted to catnip, so he wanted "people to be drawn to the shopping arcade and the stores." [Inside the store] You can see what's going on inside the store from the outside, making it easy to enter. The left wall is white and the right wall is light blue. The floors and tables are woody, and there are small items with cat motifs here and there (not found in Misono Shopping Arcade), making it a cute store (as an old man it took some courage to enter lol).
