天然本くえ料理専門店 風車に初訪問。知名度からして一回行くべきと判断。刺身や唐揚げも提供されるコースもあるが、くえはやっぱり鍋が美味いので、天然本くえ鍋（上）15,400円（税サ込）をオーダー。上とはくえトロの鍋という意味で、普通の身だと12,100円。また、くえトロのコースだと24,200円、普通の身のコースで18,700円と結構高め。
くえトロの鍋は、ふぐとは違ってくえ独特の脂が美味しい。今回は20キロちょいのくえとのことで、この店ではそこまで大きなものではないが十分な味。量も鍋のみで満腹。白浜名物のくえを食べる店としてKappou Kawanishiなどとも比べて決めたい。
