紀伊田辺在住の先輩に連れてきていただいた人気の居酒屋さんです。「吉田類の酒場放浪記」にも紹介されたお店のようで、予約を取るのもなかなか難しいとか。店構えからなかなかいい雰囲気のお店ですね。しかも紀伊田辺という町は不思議な街で、お世辞にも大きな街とは言えませんが、夜のこのエリアは結構賑やか。食事をする場所から、スナックまで、飲み好きにはたまらない街ですね。
さっそく、刺身の盛り合わせをいただきます。旬の魚ばかりで新。鮮です。一口食べるとプリっとした食感がたまりません。紀州には「もち鰹」といわれる美味い魚があるようですが、今日は残念ながら品切れのようですが、それでも白身の魚から鮪、サーモン、イカなど豪華な内容。お酒も今日も進みます。
魚のメニューも豊富で、あら煮や白身魚のﾌﾗｲ、タコブツ、かまの塩焼きなどをいただきましたが、どれも絶品。それにこのお値段。たまりません。夜７時になると店内も満席。いい雰囲気です。
魚以外にもお店の名物に「酢豚」などもあり、いただきましたが、爽やかな酸味の味にプリっとした豚肉やシャキッとした野菜の組み合わせが美味でした。
南紀に恐るべしお店がありますね。
