１３号線のバイパスをヤマザワの交差点を曲がって西方向に直進。セブンイレブンを過ぎた左手にお店の看板が見えます。駐車場は十分な広さが有るので心配有りません。
お店の脇には石釜用の薪や伐採してきたばかりの木が積まれておりました。
ピザがおいしいお店で、昼食に何度か通っています。いつもは薄い生地のローマ風のマルゲリータとミートソースのパスタを注文します。ピザは焼き上がるのに時間がかかるので、その間パスタをシェアして食べています。木曜日はマルゲリータ・マリナーラが安く食べれる日ですが、かなり混雑しています。
ナポリ風ピザも食べてみたいと思っていましたが、夜しかやっていないとの事で、今回予約してナポリピザマルゲリータを注文しました。外はパリとしていますが、中はモッチリしていて非常に美味しいと思いました。石釜での焼き加減が丁度よくチーズもとろーりとして最高でした。
ちょうど店長がお店の中にでてきて、マルゲリータの名前の由来はイタリア王妃とのことで、店内にある美術書を見せてくれました。（以前から美術書が置かれてるのは分かっていましたが、こういう事だったのですね）。
後日調べてみると、19世紀にイタリアを統一したサヴォイ家の王妃マルゲリータは、ナポリの有名なピザ職人にピザを作らせました。ピザ職人は王家への敬意を払い、トマトソースとバジル、モッツァレラチーズでイタリア国旗の赤・緑・白に見立てたピザを創作したそうです。
確かに赤、緑、白の３色で、何気ないバシルにも意味があったのですね。
別に注文していた明太子クリームパスタもソースが非常に美味しく、パスタのかたさは、歯ごたえが有りちょうど良いゆで加減でした。
印象としては、混んでる昼よりは、夜の方が空いている分だけ、パスタの味とかたさが良かったと思います。
