みなさん、ご存知でしたか？ジンギスカンは、山形県の蔵王発祥なんですって。
山形の鋳物工場で、あの鉄鍋も生まれたんです。
ということで、蔵王の温泉街には、ジンギスカンを扱うお店が多い。
当店もそのひとつ。
蔵王温泉の高湯通りという、メインストリートにある食堂。
『孤独のグルメ』のロケで出てきそうな地方のお店らしい雰囲気。
通し営業なので、入りやすく利用しやすい。
伺ったタイミングも、中途半端な15時前。
先客はひと組の家族のみ。
もちろん、その家族もジンギスカンを食べられていた。
ジンギスカン定食は、ラムとマトンの2種類。
それぞれ、小鉢のきんぴらごぼう、白ごはん、味噌汁がつき、
メインのジンギスカンには、お肉の他、キャベツ・玉ねぎ・もやしがつく。
いずれもカット数もあり、
柔らかくクセもない。
濃いつけダレにつければごはんも進む。
蔵王温泉に行った際は、やはりジンギスカンを食べるべきでしょう。
