For lunch during my business trip to Yamagata, I visited Kanazawaya, which seemed to have good value for money. It is attached to a butcher shop. I made a reservation and was shown to a tatami room on the first floor. I ordered Steak bowl and a beef stew. Steak bowl was very tender and delicious.
