色々な街で飲み歩いた経験上、ほとんどの
街で最大の繁華街は駅から少し歩く場所に
あったと思います。
山形市は珍しいタイプで山形駅の目の前が
大小様々な飲み屋が連なる繁華街になって
いました。
仙台市に通勤通学する人が大変多い都市と
聞いたので、地元民の駅の利用者が大変多
いのでしょうか？
一軒目の居酒屋からハシゴして三軒
目に伺ったのがこちらです。
『東屋BAR』
読み方「あずまや」ではないのですね？
薄暗いけど畏まってないのでムーディとい
う印象もなく、マスターの接客も相まって
肩肘張らずにお酒を楽しめるバーです。
"Mojito"を頂きながら酒棚を眺めると
見慣れないボトルの数々が目に入ります。
これはなんでしょうか？とマスターに伺う
と、なんと今では手に入らないオールドボ
トルのウイスキーが並んでいるのではあり
ませんか！
早速頂きました。
"Glenfiddich" オールドボトル
「どうぞ飲み比べてみてください」
と現行品の12 years oldを頂きましたが、
オールドボトルは現行品と全く別物のよう
に豊かな熟成香があります…
なるほど、この味なら販売数世界一にまで
のし上がったのは納得…
地元が豪雨で大変な事になっていたので、
翌日朝一で帰る事を考えこの辺でチェック
致しました。
