山形駅からほど近い雑居ビルの２Fにある隠れ家的なお店です。
駅から150ｍも離れていないのですがこの辺りは随分静かで落ち着いた地区なのですね。
２軒目という事もあり軽めにモルトを頂く事にしました。
チャームはほとんど見かけないドライフルーツと煎り豆の入ったミックスナッツで一風変わっています。
フルーツ王国山形と庄内の豆をアピールする意図なんでしょうか…^^;
バックヤードにはオールドモルトがずらっと並んでいて２杯目で1972年もののゴードン＆マクファイルを頂きました。
１杯目は何か日本のウィスキーをというリクエストに山崎のシェリー樽のウィスキーを頂きましたが華やかなシェリーの薫りが際立つ甘くまろやかな味わいの美味しいモルトでした。
そして２杯目にはいよいよ1972年のゴードン＆マクファイルですがこちらは干しブドウの様なほのかな甘みとまろやかさを感じる優しい味わいの一杯でした。
話好きのマスターで色々面白い話をしてくれましたが個性的で少々脱線気味のところがある方の様です^^;
和気あいあいの居酒屋ならともかくせっかくオールドモルトの揃ったオーセンティックバーなのですからそこら辺の品位は保っていって欲しいものです。どうもご馳走さまでした。
