月が屋号についているラーメン屋が多い酒田ラーメンだが、大正末期からの開業が始まりだという。その老舗のひとつである市内チェーンに寄った。ワンタン麺か酒田のラーメンが定番だというので酒田ラーメンでお願いする。シンプルな支那そば系で実にラーメン中のラーメンとも言える醤油ラーメンである。夏の暑さに負けない汗を流して食するラーメンは、大変素朴な味わいがある。店内は地元幼稚園の子供たちから感謝の掲示板があった。
