Today I came to Tsuruoka in Yamagata. This year, perhaps due to the warm winter, there was no snow at all, and it was a mid-winter scene that was hard to believe in Yamagata. Since dinner wasn't included at my accommodation, I stopped by this restaurant recommended by my accommodation. The exterior and interior of the restaurant had the atmosphere of a typical pork cutlet restaurant, but the large bowl of pickled Chinese cabbage served with the appetizer gave it a local feel. The main dish, the pork cutlet, is soft and juicy, and the rich flavor is very delicious. It goes perfectly with the crispy batter and goes well with the local rice Tsuyahime (lol). The minced meat cutlet that I ordered together is also crispy and has a lot of ingredients, and the fried chicken is an unusual bite type. It was juicy and delicious!
