鶴岡駅周辺は寿司屋が多いけど、評判になっている店はなかなかない。ここはその中でも高得点なので気になったお店。駐車場が目の前にあるのがありがたい。
天ぷらや唐揚げなど仕出しもありつつ、カウンターで寿司をいただくのがいい感じ。ランチは天ぷら付きのセットなどもあるけど、せっかくなので地物のセット1800円。
夏のせいか青魚はあまりなく、イカ・鯛・スズキ・バイ貝・キス（！）・ノドグロなど珍しい魚も多くてうれしい。ここで驚いたのがふぐの寿司。初めて食べましたが、湯通ししてあるのか厚手なのに柔らかい。ツメで食べるのも意外性があっておもしろい。どれも新鮮なのは言うまでもなく、大満足。出てくるペースが速いのでむしろサラダなどはなくてもいいのでは。デザートにアイスと桃のコンポートがつきます。
揚げ物専任の方もいるようなので、次に鶴岡へ行くことがあったら夜は絶対ここへ行きます。上喜元やくどき上手の有名なものから聞いたことがないものまで、魚に合いそうな日本酒がたくさんありました。
