久々にこの地で仕事、そして、７年ぶりにこの店で食べることができた。
場所からしたら、鶴岡からも遠いし村上からも遠い。正直なところ県境の僻地だ。しかし、この店は常に賑わっている。今回は地元病院の院長のおごり。
コースを頼むわけでもなく、思うままに目の前のメニューから頼む。刺身盛り合わせ、なまこポン酢ときて時期の早い生牡蠣だ。都会だったら目玉が飛び出るほどの値段だろう。日本酒が入ったので思うように箸は進まないが、それでも腹の許す限り食べる。
そして、こういうところに来たら、やっぱり近海魚の寿司を食べたい。地魚握りは色々と説明してくれたが、酔っ払っていてよく覚えていない。ノドグロとアワビぐらいしか覚えていない。
新鮮なのは当たり前。旨い魚をガッツリ食べたくなる店だ。
