出羽三山詣での初日に訪れた羽黒山。
2446段の長い長い階段をゼーゼーしながら登っているところ、中腹を過ぎたあたりに忽然と現れた奇跡の茶屋でした。
江戸時代から続く昔話に出てくるようなお茶屋さんです。庄内平野を見わたせる高台にあります。
かき氷をいただきました。みぞれ味。たしか450円。電気も水道も無いような参道の中腹でかき氷を出そうという心遣いに感謝します。かき氷はお店の方が手動で削るかたち。氷はクーラーボックスから出されてました。氷などの食材はおそらく階段で歩いてもってきてくれたものでなのしょう。
写真にはないですが、たまこんにゃくもいただきました。
残りの石段を登れる力をいただきました。
