旅行初日、新潟県の村上駅から各駅停車で移動して、山形県の鶴岡駅に到着したのは19時頃でした。普段の生活圏の感覚ではまだいくらでも食事の出来る店が営業している時刻ですが、鶴岡駅前広場には人の気配もほとんどなく、駅前ビルにフードコートの看板があったのですが、建物には入れたものの中の店舗は営業終了。駅前ロータリーからはコンビニも見当たらないという状況でした。ネットで検索して、5分ほど歩けば営業しているインド料理店があると判って移動。しかし途中の道も真っ暗。ここ駅前だぞ…。
ラジャセット1,680円。好きなカレー1種（写真はマトンドピアジャ）、チキンティッカ、ガーリックティッカ、ナンまたはライス、サラダ、ドリンク。
カレーのスパイス感はちょっと物足りなかったのですが（こんなマイルドなマトンドピアジャは初めて食べた…中辛だったのに）、濃厚で、煮物としてはまぁ美味しいカレーでした。タンドリー料理類もついてボリューム満点、コスパはとても良いです。
