We arrived in the rain around 11:30. We were lucky to find two parking spaces available, and were shown to a raised area right away. We ordered the regular-sized cold Niku Soba (beef soba) for 850 yen. It had the firm noodles characteristic of Yamagata, a sweet soup with a strong chicken flavor, and was topped with crunchy meat and spring onions. It was full of rich, savory, and sweet flavors. It was also quite salty, and had a strong aftertaste. We've had Niku Soba in various places, but this was by far the richest of them all. When we left just after 12 o'clock, there were about three groups of customers waiting at the entrance. It's a popular restaurant, as you'd expect. Thank you for the meal.
