湯田温泉のメイン通りには何軒ものホテルが建ち並ぶが、その中でも昭和の観光ホテルの色彩を放つのがこのニュータナカだ。
と言ってもマイナス的な訳ではなくロビーの広さや雰囲気は懐かしくも豪華で中々気分が良い。
そのニュータナカの1階にあるこの店。
ランチバイキングもやっていて一回は行ってみたいと思っていたが、この日宿泊した際に宿泊に付いていた朝食を食べることができた。
朝食もバイキング形式で、焼き魚や漬物などの和ものはもちろんソーセージやハムなど洋食系の品も揃っている。
山口名産としては宇部の蒲鉾もある。
ご飯とパンは両方あり、パンは温められる。
味噌汁にスープもあり、ドリンクも尾者やコーヒーの他にジュースや牛乳があり、ホテル朝食としては一通り揃っていて、まずは満足できる。
