湯田温泉、魚食べたいなと思ったけれど、焼き鳥店が多いな、と思った。
残念ながら魚を出す店には入れず、それならステーキでも食べようと「炉舎」に入る。
お店に入ったのはラストオーダー直前、なので瓶ビールと麦焼酎のロックをもらった。ちょっとがっつきすぎかな。
日替わりのメニューからカキフライを選ぶ。
広島の牡蠣の季節です、という記載があったような、メニューを見て脳内で再生されただけかもしれない。たっぷりタルタルソースが嬉しい、熱々のカキフライ。瓶ビールでカキフライ、そんなローテーション。
ハンバーグの種類がたくさん、けれどもステーキを食べたい。
リブロースステーキの150gをお願いしていた。
随分柔らかい、ナイフがスゥッと入るし、肉質も解けるような感じ。適度に食感があるのが、とてもいい。肉自体の味わいもあり、ソース無しでも、いい味だなと思う。
選べるステーキソースはジャポネにした。オニオンたっぷりの定番ソースで、ステーキに合わせるのがいいとオススメもされた。
きちんと食感があり、ほぐれるような肉質、オージービーフは家でもステーキとして焼いているけれど、こんなに柔らかくない。やはり、お店は肉が違うのか、職人技によるものか。ともかく堪能した。
温泉街で食べるステーキ、なんだか不思議な感じだけど、悪くない。
