場所は、山口市の中心を流れる一の坂川の近くの路地（元公設市場があったあたり）にあります。
店構えは、江戸時代のちょっといい飲み屋のような（笑）感じで、赤いちょうちんが目印です。
お店の看板（標識）も、ごく控えめで、一瞬、ほんとにここでよかったっけ？と思うほどです。
中に入ると、カウンターとお座敷があり、当日は予約していたお座敷席へ。
お店の雰囲気から、熟年の方が経営されているのかと、勝手に思っていましたが、予想に反し、
若い方が経営されているようで、そのギャップもよかったです。
お刺身や、天麩羅などを頼みましたが、ひとつひとつ丁寧に仕事されていて美味しかったです。
料理に良く合う山口の地酒（獺祭、五橋）などもおいてありますので、県外から来られた方をお連れするのもいいと思います。
