わたくしのお祝い会をしてくれるというので、招かれた。苦笑
昔はよく行った料理屋です。
官官接待が問題化して、政治県山口もかなり叩かれたせいか、湯田の老舗割烹・料理屋もかなりお店たたんだよね。
宇部興産もなかなか元気でないし、ユニクロみたいな新興勢力は地元に金落ちないし、民間活力もなかなかいまいち。
そうした、ロスト20年をなんとかのりこえて、今も営業。
好みの味のお店が残ってくれてるのは、うれしくなりますね。
だいたい、夜でも懐石料理5000円くらいからやってくれます。
春は筍や甘鯛、夏はアユさより太刀魚や穴子、秋は松茸土瓶蒸し、冬はふぐ刺、なんて風に季節ごとに土地のものをうまく取り込んでいたとおもいます。
今回は夏につきアユや茄子などあり、涼しげなメニュー。
東京で三万円の料理より、湯田で5000円の懐石の方がはるかにうまいのは、気のせいかねぇ。。
