湯田温泉、やや外れにオシャレな建物がある。周囲は街灯も少なくどういった建物なのか、店なのかよく分からない。当店はその２階にある。
扉の奥は薄暗く、バックバーだけが光を放っているように見えるが、目が慣れるとそこがオーセンティックなバーだと分かる。
カウンターの中に立つのはまだ若いバーテンドレス。
話を聞くと相当、ウィスキー好きらしい。こういった店、好きだ。次々と酒のエピソードが出てくる。それを肴に酒を飲む。
好みを伝えてシングルモルトを出してもらう。最近、ボトラーズものが多く、多くの酒場で意外なご馳走に出会う機会が多い。
最後にマティーニを作ってもらい、店を辞す。
