・関門海峡を挟む下関と北九州では河豚を福にかけてふくと呼ぶ。平家茶屋は料理もスタッフの応対もワンランク上の高級店でありながら、当日予約でも個室で気兼ねなくふく料理を堪能できる。
・ふく料理2大看板の、てっさやてっちり、皮刺し、唐揚げ、雑炊と、全ての定番を楽しめるコース。この日のふくは長崎県産。お気に入りはふぐのうま味と衣の味付けのバランスが良い唐揚げ。
・刺身の透き通る美しさ、口に広がる上品な甘みと歯ごたえを楽しむ。ふくちり鍋は程よく火が通った身に軽くポン酢につけて。ふぐ出汁で煮えた白菜や豆腐も絶品。
