雨の日。何だか身体の調子がイマイチ。
低気圧が来るとやる気が出なくなる、Z世代に最近流行りの病気とも言えない病気でないことを祈る（笑）。
『こんな時は、カレーだな…』
下関でカレー専門店だと、まずここを思いつく。
店構えも店内も昭和レトロ。
BGMは、ヴォーカル系ジャズ。
長年にわたって作られてきた雰囲気がある。
メニューの中央にある、牛すじカレー（￥850- 税込）をオーダー。
やや小ぶりに見える皿は、深さがあるので量は十分。
大好きな福神漬けを多めに盛って、スプーンを手に取る。
ルーは、最初『甘いかな？』と、感じたが、後からスパイシーテイストが追ってくる。
ライスは、もっちり昭和風。
牛すじの甘味が口に入ると、メリーゴーランドのように変化する味を楽しめる。
完食してパワーを充填。
辛さの余韻が心地良く残る。
辛さ自慢のテーマパーク的なカレー店とは、一線を画すな。
