門司の焼きカレーとビールでお腹いっぱいになった後、
フェリーで本州に上陸。
せっかく下関にきたのだから、
ご当地らしいものをつまみたいね
といいながら徘徊していると、
「くじら」と書いたのぼりが！
しかも、
だんだん身体が冷えてきていた私たちには嬉しい、
「おでん」のちょうちんも！
お店に入ると、
感じの良いマスターがひとり。
一見の私たちに、フレンドリーに話しかけてくださいます。
晩酌セット¥1000をオーダー。
指定のドリンクに、
くじらの刺盛りまたは焼魚またはベーコンエッグ
ポテトサラダまたはちりめんじゃこ
おでん2個
という、大充実メニューです。
くじらの刺盛りは。赤身と皮。
ちょいとつまむにはちょうどいい量。
おでんは普段食べているものとは少し違った味付け。
しょっぱさはなく、
醤油の旨味がしっかりと効いています。
おいしい。
ウッディな内装で、居心地もいい。
ただしトイレは店内にはないので、
歩いてすぐの公園へどうぞ。
