山口県西北部の日本海沿い、長門市の道の駅「センザキッチン」内で営業するベーカリーである。
このときは休日の昼ごろ。朝から観光船で名勝「青海島」を周遊観光。港＝道の駅に戻ってきて、売店でも覗くかとふらふらしていて、つい吸い込まれるようにこちらへ。お店は独立した建物になっていて、どうやらここで窯で焼いている様子。ほほうと思って、明日の朝のパンを買っていくことに。
店内はそれほど広くはないが、トングとトレーを持ってささっと見て回るには好都合。お昼どきということですぐ食べられる系の陳列が多いなか、塩バターロールとクロワッサンをチョイス。包んでいただいてお持ち帰りに。
翌朝、すこしだけ温めていただきました。
塩バターロールは思ったよりバターが控えめで、食べやすい感じ。クロワッサンもまだパリパリしていておいしい。観光地の道の駅だしとちょっとあなどっていたのですが、なかなかのものでした。ごちそうさまです。
