私事ですが以前の仕事の関係で訪問してみたかったのが小野田と宇部です。
湯田温泉の帰路に時間を作り宇部新川で下車して彫刻の並ぶ街を散策しました。
ハミングロード新天町が終わり琴柴に向かおうかとした時に偶々パン屋さんの幟を見つけました。
奥まったお店に近寄ると、、なんかプレハブ的な外観にチョッと意外性も。。
店内は昔ながらのショーケース式でラップに包まれた状態での販売でした。
粗雑な感じもしましたがお店のお母さんは家庭的で温かく対応してくれたのが印象に。
マロンとチョコクッぺを機内食様に調達し電車に乗って空港へ。。
意外な大きさでＣＰは良い感じ。マロンは栗の実も乗っかりタップリのクリームが挟まっています。
チョコクッぺはメロンパンにコロネのチョコを挟んだ意外性の有るパンでした。
パンの感じが昔の駄菓子屋さん的素朴さが懐かしい風味でした。
意外に有りそうでない味わいは地元に愛されている証拠かな？
