I made a reservation and visited on a Thursday night. There was a board in front of the restaurant that explained the benefits of wild yam, and it was clear that wild yam is the best thing they serve. The wooden interior of the restaurant has 6 counter seats, 12 table seats, and 16 tatami-mat seats. The menu features robatayaki dishes made with locally grown ingredients and wild yam from Yanai City. There are 6 types of appetizers to choose from. It's nice to be able to start the day off right according to your mood. After a sumptuous sashimi platter, I chose broad beans, Iwakuni lotus root, and Choshu parent chicken from the robatayaki. From the wild yam dishes, I chose tamagoyaki, tororo motsu nabe, and TKG. The robatayaki Iwakuni lotus root was more flavorful than I expected! I was surprised at how sweet it was, almost like sweet potato. You should definitely try this. As for the wild yam dishes, the tamagoyaki was fluffy, and Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot) had a thick texture and a deep flavor that was really good. The TKG we had at the end was also the best! I felt like I was getting more power with every bite (lol). I've been on a tight schedule lately and I was exhausted, but the next morning when I woke up I didn't feel so tired. Maybe it was because of this wild yam dish! Warm robatayaki and powerful wild yam dishes. If you want to do your best tomorrow, be sure to try it!
