On Friday, February 9th, we went on a drive around Yamaguchi Prefecture, the westernmost part of Honshu! The second shop we visited was "Jean Paul Cafe" in Sakurababa-dori, Shunan City. This is a long-established bakery that has been in business for 100 years. It is known as Fujii Bakery and has been loved by locals for a long time (^-^). The building with its red walls is very stylish. As it is a cafe, it has a wide variety of drinks and eat-in menus. French cuisine looks especially delicious (°▽°). There are so many types of bread on sale that it's hard to choose! From Side Dishes breads with lots of ingredients to sweet breads with lots of Chocolate and cream, it seems like you can't go wrong with any of them (^-^). They also sell French bread. The impact of the bamboo charcoal French bread is so strong! If you see someone biting into it, you'll mistake them for eating charcoal (^-^;) The French milk that was featured on TV. I'd like to get one (^-^) There was also a product with a sign saying it was only available in winter. When I hear it's a limited edition item, I can't help but buy it. I purchased the item called Fruit. I received Fruit on Tuesday, February 13th. It is a soft triangular bread with plenty of homemade custard cream and butter cream sandwiched inside. As the name suggests, it is full of fruit (^-^) It contains pineapple, white peach, and mandarin orange. The juicy fruit flesh is irresistible. I received French Milk on Wednesday, February 14th. The crisply baked French bread was stuffed with plenty of condensed milk cream. The combination of the light-tasting French bread and the sweet condensed milk cream is addictive!
