This Japanese-style meal restaurant Local Cuisine is located in the Ginza shopping arcade, and was founded 100 years ago. It is an old-fashioned Japanese-style building. The lunch menu on the front of the restaurant looked good, so I went in. When I entered the restaurant, I found a simple, old-fashioned atmosphere that reminded me of an irori hearth. There were tables that could seat about 10 people, and a counter with more than 10 seats. There seemed to be rooms in the back and on the second floor. When I sat down at the counter, I was asked if I would like lunch, and I nodded. There seemed to be a menu book, but it was not given to me because my order had been taken, so I was unable to check the other menu items. A hand towel and hot tea were brought out. Then the lunch arrived. Pork bowl, ozara, miso soup, Small dish dishes, and pickles came on a tray. It was a cold day, so the warm ozara and red miso soup were appreciated. It warmed my body. The Pork bowl was topped with bean sprouts, carrots, onions, shiitake mushrooms, pork, etc. It would have been better if there were a few more ingredients. Small dish were Simmered dish and three types of pickles, which were healthy. And for dessert, Candied sweet potatos. So nostalgic! So simple. It also comes with a mini-sized coffee. This is a great deal for the price. I like a variety of drinks in small quantities, so it's perfect for me. I'm very satisfied. Thank you for the meal.
