前日の松本から諏訪大社4社、諏訪湖、諏訪湖温泉の立ち寄り湯「片倉館」など観光をしながら下道で甲府へ。
観光客で大賑わいの松本とは異なり、お盆休みで駅前の店は多くが閉店。
仕方なく、県庁を抜けて昔の繁華街に移動。
出張で良く使っていた郷土料理の老舗「江戸屋」さんにお邪魔しました。
雰囲気も良く料理も美味しいのですが、お客さんが少なく、寂しい感じでした。
甲州名物「煮貝」、どじょうのから揚げ、天ぷら盛り合わせなどを頂き1時間ちょっとで退店しました。
駅前で「鳥もつ煮」とおそばを食べる予定なので、ほうとうは食べずに出ました。
おかしかったのが、駅前の食べログ評価の高い店がお盆休みの閉店で、店前で困っていた品の良いご夫婦もここに流れてきたこと。スマホで調べていたからうまく見つかったんでしょう。
久しぶりに甲府に来ましたが駅前が発展する一方、昔の繁華街は寂れた感じで一段と寂しくなっていました。
