Isawa-cho, Fuefuki City... Located in front of the high-class Ryokan Kagetsu in Isawa Onsen town. This is a long-established Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) that has been loved in this location for a long time. I visited here for the first time since I was an Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) lady. The restaurant is full of local customers and guests staying at the hot springs. The menu includes izakaya menu items and meal menu items such as sashimi, Fried food Seafood, Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), Simmered dish, simmered dishes, hot pots, rice dishes, Ramen, soba, Houtou pot, etc. There is a wide selection of items that you can use just for meals. Today, it's cold, so I ordered my first hot pot of the year. Chige hot pot and oyster hot pot. The taste is, ah, this is it! The broth from an authentic Japanese restaurant is delicious. The oysters that look like they could be eaten raw are fluffy and rich. There are lots of big, thick Oyster in the pot. If you're looking for a hot pot at this time of year, it's oyster hot pot. And the raw oysters are fresh! The grilled oysters become even richer when grilled, and the hot sake goes well with a squeeze of lemon. I wonder if they are from Sanriku at this time of year? I don't like spicy food, so I didn't try it, but the chige hotpot seems to warm me up. People who like it like it. And the sashimi is excellent. It seems that a chef who specializes in sashimi prepared it, but the slices are thick and fresh. The boat-shaped platter really shows the love of tuna❤︎ of the prefecture's residents. I feel that the logistics are amazing for the sashimi in this landlocked prefecture to be so delicious. The chicken giblets stew was also soft and had a delicious sweet and spicy taste. I also had Tempura and Sushi (I forgot to take a photo). All the Japanese-style meal, which must have been prepared by a proper Japanese chef, were delicious. I think I can understand why it has been loved in Isawa Onsen town for so long. By the way, the unique fried konnyaku is said to be the most popular!
