Restaurants Cuillette, located in a vineyard, serves authentic French cuisine made with seasonal ingredients
La Cueillette means "the fruit harvest," a blessing of nature born from the earth, water, and sun. The owner chef will provide you with a selection of carefully selected ingredients, including fruits |
The after-funeral meal (dinner after the Shinto ritual) for my mother-in-law, who passed away suddenly in February, was held at this French cuisine restaurant, which my mother-in-law and wife have visited several times and have fond memories of. Cuillette boasts a view of the natural surroundings, with Mt. Fuji in front of the restaurant and the Yatsugatake mountain range in the distance. It is a small Restaurants in a detached house surrounded by vineyards, making it feel like you've visited the French countryside. The course menu that enriched the blissful moment is as follows. [Three hors d'oeuvres] ・Firefly squid from Toyama, rape blossom and butterbur sprout puree, North Sea octopus couscous ・Marinated horse meat from Yamanashi Prefecture, apple, beetroot, golden mandarin orange puree ・Hake-dake spring water trout, trout roe, radish and citrus, sauce pistou [Soup] ・Kaiji Shamo consommé soup, Nanbu-cho bamboo shoots, Prosciutto, yuzu pepper [Poisson] ・Fresh fish, shrimp extract and glutinous barley risotto, cherry shrimp, new onion puree [Viande] ・Kai sweet pork wrapped in pancetta, semi-dried grapes and red wine [Avant-dessert] Cheese platter (choose three types from the plate) [Dessert] ・Yamoto Farm Oi C berry, white Chocolate mousse ・Strawberry and red wine sauce, passion fruit granita, coupe style ・Coffee or tea ・Petit fours The authentic French cuisine, made with carefully selected ingredients such as vegetables sourced from local contracted farmers, wine pork from local livestock farmers, and seafood delivered directly from the fishing port, was truly exquisite. As the surrounding area is known as a fruit town, we were able to enjoy seasonal fruits. Also, perhaps because of the location, there are many visitors who come by car, so there is a very extensive menu of non-alcoholic drinks. We tried the Kishu Plum and Osmanthus Sparkling, Elegant Apple, Pomegranate & Berry Organic Food & Chardonnay, Organic Food Non-Alcoholic Wine Chardonnay, and they were all delicious.
